Everything starts with the plan
Whether it’s commercial spots, interviews, music videos, video resumes—all of these need a focus and a plan. We have to know where you want to go, what goals you need to achieve, and what audience you need to target or attract.
Step 1
This process begins with an in-person meeting or conference call if out of the tri-state area. During this meeting our goal is to answer these big questions, decide on a budget that works, choose a format and story idea that will fit the objective, and come back to you with an organized plan of action to accomplish the goal in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Step 2
After the initial meeting we draw up a basic shot list and storyboard showing how we will execute the project. We will discuss how we will most effectively use the budget to handle location, crew, and post production elements such as editing, special effects, video distribution, and so forth. Once we have these components in place we can begin the scheduling process for setting up the shoot and getting everyone ready to do their part.
Step 3
The shoot. We get our team and all participating parties scheduled and ready, review scripts, if needed and prepare the day for shooting. We work in just about any location and have an excellent crew that can get the job done right. One of the unique aspects of what we offer is a warm, friendly, and very safe atmosphere for our clients when they are involved in the shoot themselves. One initial reaction from many clients of ours is “Oh, god, I don’t want to be in the commercial” or “I can’t be in front of a camera”. We recognize that many people have a fear of being on video, looking silly, or not doing well. Our promise is to help ease you into this as we have done countless times before. We ensure that you will enjoy the process and more importantly the results. Our team has experience working with all types of people and the owners, Jeff and Donna Clapp, have extensive coaching backgrounds that helps clients feel at total ease throughout the whole process.
Step 4
Once the project is shot we begin the editing process. This takes the most amount of time inside the project as this is where the final story comes together. We work diligently to work toward creating an initial cut/product that meets the goals and objectives from the initial meeting. We will also review any motion graphic effects required. Sometimes there are ideas or things that come to mind for our clients once they see an initial video. We build in a certain number of initial edits into each project and are always able to do additional editing, if required, at a fair and negotiated rate.
Step 5
After completion we will work to help you distribute your message across various media outlets ensuring the best overall exposure for your video. All videos can all be produced at “Broadcast Quality” so they can be utilized for cable or TV viewing.
